What You’ll Work On The Test Technician I supports the testing of electromechanical systems. Performs routine calibrations of electronic, temperature, flow, pressure and other measuring instrumentation. Effectively follows test procedures and plans. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment including instrumentation, data acquisition hardware, and test fixtures to effectively execute tests and document test results. Clearly communicates test and diagnostics results with other team members in oral and written forms.
You’ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks
+ Use software and hardware used for control and data acquisition.
+ Exercise basic knowledge of electronics.
+ Read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, or work instructions.
+ Organize and perform simultaneous tasks.
+ Operate mechanical and electronic systems.
+ Implement safe practices.
+ Take initiative, be willing to work independently, and exercise a strong desire to learn.
+ Working independently and in group settings.
+ Effectively present information and respond to questions.
+ Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and communicate with other skilled technical team members.
What We’re Looking For
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Associates/Technical Degree with 1+ year(s) of experience or 5+ years of applicable experience, preferred.
+ Automated testing experience, preferred.
+ Proficient in use of general-purpose test equipment, preferred.
+ Understanding of test plans, test reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to analyze test set-ups.
+ Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to productively manage multiple tasks simultaneously while observing quality and safety standards
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment
All work is done in an electronics manufacturing facility with much of the time spent at a computer and product-testing workstation.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lb. of equipment over short distances as needed while fulfilling job responsibilities.
