If interested in learning more about this position, please send resumes directly to Shannon at **sfitch@actalentservices.com** Job Description Tests electrical filters using pulsed current injection equipment and ensures the resulting data is properly recorded and analyzed. Performs shielding effectiveness testing to determine the performance of a shielded enclosure; if shielding issues are discovered, recommend rework to production personnel. Performs electrical wiring and assembly tasks, including but not limited to: installing and securing electrical components such as connectors, terminals, and circuit boards; routing and organizing wiring to ensure proper layout and functionality; inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting wiring systems to identify and resolve issues; reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate assembly; redlining and proposing improvements to wiring diagrams, schematics, or wire routing. Accurately fills out test records, inventory logbooks, test reports, and other documentation. Develops improvements for ongoing work procedures and testing methodologies. Troubleshoots to resolve issues such as incorrect equipment configurations, faulty data recording methods, defective devices under test, or wiring faults. Responsibilities + Test electrical filters using pulsed current injection equipment. + Record and analyze resulting data accurately. + Perform shielding effectiveness testing to determine the performance of a shielded enclosure. + Recommend rework to production personnel if shielding issues are discovered. + Perform electrical wiring and assembly tasks, including installing and securing electrical components such as connectors, terminals, and circuit boards. + Route and organize wiring to ensure proper layout and functionality. + Inspect, test, and troubleshoot wiring systems to identify and resolve issues. + Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate assembly. + Redline and propose improvements to wiring diagrams, schematics, or wire routing. + Accurately fill out test records, inventory logbooks, test reports, and other documentation. + Develop improvements for ongoing work procedures and testing methodologies. + Troubleshoot to resolve issues such as incorrect equipment configurations, faulty data recording methods, defective devices under test, or wiring faults. Essential Skills + Experience in electrical testing and wiring. + Proficiency in using signal measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, network and spectrum analyzers, amplifiers, signal generators, fiber optic cables, and converters. + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. + Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A.S. in Electrical Engineering OR B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology. + Experience with electrical wiring and assembly, preferred. Work Environment This position requires working on-site 5 days per week. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
