Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing debug and test assemblies to component level using block diagrams and schematics. This role involves tester maintenance, troubleshooting operator problems, and working with leadership on training and process improvements. The position requires a 4/10 schedule on the 1st shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with openness to work on Fridays.

ResponsibilitiesPerform debug and test assemblies to component level using block diagrams and schematics.Conduct tester maintenance and upkeep.Troubleshoot operator problems and collaborate with leadership on training and process improvements.Communicate issues to Test Engineer and/or leader.Assist in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.Recommend additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers.Essential Skills1-3 years of electronics experience.Basic computer skills, including logging in.Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and drawings.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools such as multimeter and oscilloscope.Experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, and PCB troubleshooting.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in electronics.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective interpersonal and multitasking skills.Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.High attention to detail and ability to work with diverse groups.Discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism.Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance.Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.Strong customer service and client focus.Proficiency with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software.Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position primarily involves sitting, with some standing. The facility is clean, fast-paced, and certified to AS9100 and another relevant certification. The role involves working on military and government projects, some of which require top secret clearance and ITAR compliance. Contractors must be able to obtain this clearance and comply with ITAR regulations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA ANA, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
