**Job Title: Test Technician** **Job Description** ICT/FCT Test Technicians will be responsible for performing debug activities on assemblies with test failure occurrences. This role involves analyzing failure data, conducting in-circuit and functional tests based on customer requirements, and ensuring all activities are documented in quality systems. The technician will also be tasked with providing feedback to the engineering department for test procedure improvements and communicating defect findings with team members and supervisors. **Responsibilities** + Analyze failure data + Conduct in-circuit and functional tests based on customer requirements + Input data of auditing/testing activities into quality systems + Perform debug activities to ensure product meets manufacturing testing requirements + Follow test procedures, customer drawings, and/or visual aids + Provide feedback to the engineering department for test procedure improvements + Communicate with team members and supervisors relative to defect findings + Participate in performance feedback + Escalate issues regarding quality to supervisor/quality engineer + Escalate issues regarding malfunctioning test fixtures to supervisor and/or maintenance staff + Train and educate ICT FCT Tech I in troubleshooting and debugging + Perform additional duties as assigned **Essential Skills** + Soldering + Inspection + Rework + Electronics repair + Schematic understanding + PCB testing + Quality assurance + SMT + Test equipment operation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Able and willing to cross-train into other production positions with different technical or physical requirements + Able to successfully complete position certification course (IPC-610 Certification) + Previous EMS testing and/or production experience is a plus + Electronics degree or equivalent experience with troubleshooting/debugging + Knowledgeable of ICT/FCT test fixtures + Ability to troubleshoot defects down to the component level + Ability to analyze failure activity and determine root cause + Good computer skills + Ability to perform required tests to product/customer specifications **Work Environment** You will work in a climate-controlled production floor that includes electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, and SMT. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
