**Job Title: Test Technician** **Job Description** As a Test Technician, you will perform debug and test assemblies to the component level, maintain and upkeep testers, troubleshoot operator problems, and communicate issues to Test Engineers or leaders. You will also assist in experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis and recommend additional equipment needs. **Responsibilities** + Perform debug and test assemblies to component level using block diagrams and schematics + Maintain and upkeep testers + Troubleshoot operator problems and collaborate with leadership on training and process improvements + Communicate problems to Test Engineers and leaders + Assist in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis + Recommend additional equipment needs to leadership and Test Engineers **Essential Skills** + 1-3 years of electronics experience + Proficient in computer skills + Experience with ERP, ATP (acceptance test plan), or MAC address + Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and drawings + Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, multimeter, and oscilloscope **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of experience in electronics + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Effective interpersonal and multitasking skills + Strong organizational and prioritization skills + High attention to detail + Ability to work with diverse groups + Discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism + Ability to work with minimal supervision + Understanding of continuous improvement tools + Strong customer service and client focus + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software + Proficient in reading electrical schematics **Why Work Here?** You will have lots of opportunities for growth and cross-training. The manufacturing facility is clean and fast-paced. It is both AS9100 and ISO certified and works on military and government projects, some of which are top secret requiring top secret and ITAR clearance. All contractors must be able to obtain this clearance and comply with ITAR regulations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA ANA, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
