We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Technician with active work experience in testing and networking to join our team. This role involves building and maintaining network infrastructure, executing test plans, and working closely with our Test Engineer on various projects. Key Responsibilities: + Build and maintain network infrastructure. + Perform testing on both new and existing products. + Execute test plans, collect data, and write detailed reports. + Work with routers, computers, and network devices to configure and change settings. + Assemble and build parts of test network setups, including mounting shades and working with electrical components. + Use hand tools, oscilloscopes, and other standard testing tools to measure signals and ensure quality. Must-Have Qualifications: + Active work experience in testing, Power over Ethernet (POE), and RS 485. + Strong skills in networking, testing, report writing, and crimping. + Working knowledge of POE and network communication protocols. + Excellent crimping skills. + Experience with TCP/IP and CO communication software. + Familiarity with POE switches, particularly from Cisco. Day-to-Day Expectations: + Build and manage network infrastructure. + Test variations of new and old products. + Follow and execute test plans, collect data, and report findings. + Work with routers, computers, and network devices to configure and change settings. + Assemble and build products, including test network setups and mounting shades. Top 3 Skills: + Computer networking + POE (Power over Ethernet) + RS 485 network communication protocol Preferred Experience: + Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. + 2-3 years of relevant experience. + Experience with Ethernet communication and network communication testing. + Proficiency with hand tools, oscilloscopes, and standard testing tools.
