Test Technician II
Bonus - Sign on Bonus - Technicians (Temp to Hire) • $500.00 - at day 30 (Paid out by supplier via Beeline after 30days of being hired as a contingent worker) • $500.00 - at day 90/time of conversion (paid out within 30 days from being hired as a full-time regular employee). How do you handle it when you finish all assigned work early? **A Day in the Life:** • Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components. • Conduct assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment. • Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process. • Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions. • Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment. • Perform a wide variety of troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues. • Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance. • Follow audit and safety guidelines. • Participate in continuous process improvement. **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required. **Experience:** • 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience required. • Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes required. • Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plus. • Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is a plus. • Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Division-Specific Outlook and Access). Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Demonstrated ability in efficiently working in a Team of 8-10 colleagues. • Ability to analyze and address problems independently as well as collaboratively. • Ability to support projects, perform training and work efficiently as part of cohesive teams. • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills. **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** • Ability to lift-up to 35lbs. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language, and educational backgrounds. • Ability to work in appropriate PPE. **Pay Details:** $29.15 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
