Tester III - Software Testing

Role Proficiency:

Performs tests in strict compliance independently guides other testers and assists test leads

Outcomes:

     Construct test scenarios based on customer user stories or requirements      Construct systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements      Execute systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements      Ensure that new or revised components or systems perform to expectation.      Ensure meeting of standards; including usability performance reliability or compatibility.      Document Test results and report defects      Facilitate changes in processes/practices/procedures based on lessons learned from the engagement Develop proficiency of other testers on the project

Mandatory skills: • Strong Work Expertise in Load, Stability and Performance automation and relevant tools. • Handson experience in Load and Performance testing (responsiveness, scalability, stability). Strong debugging skills on load, stability and performance testing. • Strong professional automation engineer who has expertise in creating/designing the framework on load/performance testing in cloud platforms. • Strong skills in creating automated report generation using either existing tools/languages with respect to performance testing. • Strong work experience in programming languages: Python, Java, C (moderate), selenium, Javascript, powershell, yaml. • Handon testing experience in networking protocol testing like IP,ARP, MQTT, TCP, TLS, HTTP, HTTPs on residential gateways. • Work experience in baremetal (kubernates in physical/virtual servers), docker containers. • Handson experience in any of the Load Testing Tools like Apache Jmeter,BlazeMeter,Gatling,Postman, Python load testing tools like MQTT broker,http/https libraries, USP/TR369 simulators. • Strong and hands-on experience in openshift, open stack and linux platforms. • Handson experience in any of the load balancer tools: F5, Nginx, HA proxy, AWS load balancer. Desired Skills • Knowledge in Jenkins, GitLab and GitHub. • Knowledge about Springboot, RabbitMQ, MQTT, hazelcast and eureka. • AWS and MongoDB knowledge is preferrable. • Experience in Cloud based solutions, CI/CD and Dev-ops environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Docker). • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). • Certification in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) • Linux and container certification (RHCE, CKA)
