PURPOSE OF POSITION • Coordinate activities in the testing laboratories of the corresponding area for compliance with the metrics, respecting the procedures, work instructions, quality plans, safety and environment. Always acting and operating safely for yourself and the company.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Present the new line personnel and coworkers, facilities and general administration of the line operation. • Participate in communication meetings when required. • Review of the test plan. • Perform line or machine start-ups. • Daily presentation of the results of the metrics of the previous day/week. • Update of the metric board (SQDC) • Take attendance of the personnel. • Review of production formats. • Review of the Autonomous Checklist. • Preparation of production reports. • Comply with the production objectives and metrics assigned to the area. • Participate in staff training and request the training record. • Manage the updated Work Instructions (in the operation or in the designated folder). • Comply with the assigned training in a timely manner. • Participate in the analysis of incident investigations related to product quality, health and safety, and environmental impact. • Verify that personnel are using PPE • Coordinate and provide PPE to personnel in the area • Report any act and/or condition that could put their lives and those of their colleagues at risk. • Assist in the installation of tools and preparation prior to testing. • Obtain tools with accessories and prepare them for the required tests. • Provide ABR, Life, Batteries, Motors, Teardown, Incoming, and Maintenance teams with the information or material necessary to perform the tests. • Follow Scrap processes • Act safely for themselves and the company. • Continuous cleaning of their “5S” work area.
Education and Experience:
• High school (Required) • TSU Mechatronics (Preferred) • Ability to read, write, add, subtract and multiply (required) General Competences: • Handling of measuring tools (Multimeter, Micrometer and Vernier) • Knowledge of PC (Excel, Word, Power point, Access) • Knowledge of different cordless/ Corded tools, • Basic knowledge of electronics, • Import/Export process, Tool repair, • Database management • Knowledge of blacksmithing, carpentry, masonry, gardening, Handling of professional tools, basic arithmetic operations, maintenance, quality inspector. • Experience with the use of tools. • Good communication skills (required). • Ability to use standard electrical and mechanical measuring instruments. • Ability to work with verbal instructions and written procedures. • Good ability to handle hands-on work. • Good work attitude and ethic, teamwork. • Thermal sensing and auditory sensing skills. • Interpretation of bills of materials. • Interpretation of drawings. • Comfortable working with a wide variety of people.
