As an Testing and Development Engineering Intern with JLG you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and skilled Engineers in the industry. In this role you will work on a variety of key projects and initiatives ranging from simple tasks to more complex analytical projects. We are looking for an experienced and motivated intern who will enjoy the hands on and troubleshooting opportunities involved in testing and development.
**YOUR IMPACT**
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
+ Support fellow Test Engineers / Test Technicians
+ Assist in the Development of project test plans with Project Engineers with assistance from the Test and Development leadership and the Reliability Engineers
+ Participate in Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), fault tree and safety analysis activities
+ Generate engineering calculations of weight distribution, stress analysis, performance estimations, etc.
+ Perform or assist in the testing of complete vehicles or vehicle components.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Student working towards a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other related engineering field.
+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Good oral and written communication skills.
+ Previous internship experience or work-related experience.
+ Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements (SAE teams, etc..)
+ Experience using Creo Parametric, Pro-E, CATIA or a similar CAD system is a plus.
+ Understanding of basic steel and sheet metal fabrication principles
+ Knowledge of construction industry and equipment used.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude

**Pay Range:**
$18.00 - $37.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
