The Testing Center Coordinator organizes and manages operations for the Accommodative Services Office's Testing Center. The Testing Center is utilized by Union students with disabilities who received testing accommodations.
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Shift Start/End Time: 8:30am - 5:00p
Hours Per Week: 35-40
Weeks Per Year: 34 weeks/year (1275 hours year) with additional hours during final exam periods in November, March and June

Purpose of Position: The Testing Center Coordinator organizes and manages operations for the Accommodative Services Office's Testing Center. The Testing Center is utilized by Union students with disabilities who received testing accommodations.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
+ Organize and manage the testing process in the Accommodative Services Office’s Testing Center by scheduling exams, confirming test request details with faculty and students, and acquiring and returning exams to professors
+ Proctor exams and ensure security of exam materials and integrity in exam administration
+ Maintain direct communication with students, course instructors, and Accommodative Services staff
+ Communicate effectively and diplomatically with faculty and students in addressing Accommodative Services’ testing guidelines and accommodation procedures
+ Recommend procedural changes and policies to the Accommodative Services team
+ Maintain test center statistics and produce a report each term summarizing test center usage and observations
+ Provide additional clerical support to the office as needed
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of administrative support experience and/or customer service experience
+ Computer skills including experience working with databases, spreadsheets and word processing; proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets required
+ Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to multi- task in a high traffic environment and to think critically and logically to solve problems as they arise
+ Pattern of excellent attendance and punctuality in prior positions
+ Strong interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs
Compensation:
The hourly range for this position is $23 per hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
