Job Summary

Primarily responsible for checking software or infrastructure  products, clearing them for defects or issue. Run various software tests to ensure it meets standards and guidelines before it goes to the  consumers. collaboration with other individuals to ensure proper integration of the new technology solution with the existing technology solutions. Run various tests on products, identify problems, and run debugging programs to  find issues. Validate test plans, test cases, defects, user scenarios, test scripts, and testing estimates follow the policies and procedures of Testing Center of Excellence( TCoE).  Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and software development, sharing knowledge and insights.

Job Responsibilities Build a robust testing strategy including Gathering requirement specifications, writing test conditions and test cases, and running test cases, detailed domain knowledge is critical, Using TCoE test procedures guidelines Ensure all testing phases are completed according to TCoE standards. Run the test cases, look for software bugs, document them, and report them to the product team, retest to make sure that the reported bugs are resolved, validation of Test cases across the projects for assurance of complete test coverage Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reports to project team, collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions, and keeping updated with the latest industry developments Create, support, and manage all the test plans, test suites, and test cases in Test Management Tool Support defect triage calls and Manage the defects in Test Management Tool Providing support to Release management team for Testing Job Specific Qualifications

Required

Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Information Technology Management or a related discipline with at least 4 years of relevant work experience Systems analysis, programming, quality control, and test management experience Microsoft Project application knowledge Basis understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies 2+ years project management experience managing projects from conception to successful implementation Commanding knowledge of the technical and business issues in any of the following areas: Applications or Infrastructure Architecture, Systems Development, Project or Product Management and Operations/Production support Proficiency using at least one Gartner-recognized test management application (e.g., ServiceNow, HP Quality Center, HP ALM, JIRA Xray)
