Testing Coordination Manager
CTG is seeking to fill a Testing Coordination Engineer opening. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Role: The EHRM-IO ODCIO Technical Operations team supports the new VA EHR's day to day operations and provides oversight to engineering and operations activities. This team works with other directorates to ensure that system performance, testing and domain management activities are accomplished. The Testing and Domain Management team coordinates on the testing activities which are needed for the operation and modification to the new EHR, as well as the domains (and domain strategy) needed to support. Lead the overall management of Testing and Domain activities in support of the EHRM-IO, ODCIO, Technical Operations Directorate. In this role: Provide support to ODCIO Subject Matter Experts (SME) as needed in their planning and execution of ODCIO Enterprise Services Technical Operations efforts. Gather and consolidate multiple SMEs project information and input into ODCIO integrated planning tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Project, JIRA) to ensure traceability of action items and milestones. Maintain, add, and track Technical Operations Group actions using project management methodology and standard collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Project, JIRA). Analyze data for to support coordination and critical path impact type analysis to the ODCIO Enterprise Services Technical Operations Group, and Testing and Domain management. Develop and support executive reporting for the Testing and Domain management lead as required. Support multiple cross VA and Interagency Testing efforts to include the National SimVet Center, Joint Testing Facility as well as any additional coordination with the EHRM-IO Testing and Evaluation team. Work as part of overall Technical Operations Testing and Domain management and develop additional programmatic documentation as needed. Minimum qualifications: 10+ years of professional work experience Experience managing Information Technology related projects Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress Able to identify and mitigate risks. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements Preferred qualifications: Experience in the VA Experience implementing electronic health records Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000to $150,000/year. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
