Testing Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities Design and prove-out of test tooling for test rigs. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Determine the best fabrication methods of their designs. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Contribute to the specification and requirements of new test rigs. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Develop methods to analyze test data as required to meet program objectives. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for optimization of designs. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Perform project planning to meet timing and performance requirements. Contribute to the development and implementation of a suitable verification and validation strategy at the defined integration levels based on given standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of verification and validation activities in accordance with given standards (including testing of virtual or physical objects, static analyses, simulation). Contribute to the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners (e.g. system, electrics/electronics or software development), providers of equipment and tools (e.g. test rigs, test environment), or customers. Your Qualifications <li _ngcontent-ekm-c49="">Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field and 1 year of experience. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Experience with machine drawings, machining methods, tolerancing and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Understanding of electronics and hydraulics in automotive systems. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Understanding of materials, heat treatments, coatings, seals and welding. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Able to develop and write test procedures and test tooling design guidelines. <li _ngcontent-hqf-c49="">Ability to plan, prioritize and organize projects to meet timing and performance objectives.
