We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering to join our team in Quantico, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

Job Duties:

Perform verification and validation testing activities of the software (service packs, hot fixes and future application versions) for federal government agency.  Conduct government acceptance testing (GAT).  Maintain GAT test procedures by creating new scenarios based on recent enhancements delivered by the software maintenance contractor.  Assist in converting the existing manual test cases to automated test cases.  Enter defects into the bug tracking system.  Participate in CCBs and recommend dispositions for defects and change requests.  Assist with maintaining the test environment and test automation development environment.  Participate in user acceptance testing and assist with creating test procedures and datasets.  Test each software release following verification and validation best practices to ensure quality was delivered in the software.  Validate conformance between documented requirements and delivered software.  Assist with documenting test results.  Participate in software reviews and demonstrations to gain an understanding of new requirements. Verify that work products meet quality standards and are free grammatical and typographical errors.  Contribute to the improvement of processes used for software verification and validation.  Attend weekly internal PMO staff meetings.  Work productively with fellow team members to meet the mission and program objectives.  Support various ad hoc meetings and briefings as requested by the project task lead.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of testing experience. Must be US citizens with an active TS clearance.

 

Currently one day a week of telework is allowed and the candidate must work onsite at the FBI Lab in Quantico for 4 days a week.
