Testing Senior Analyst

The purpose of this role is to support quality assurance initiatives by creating and executing test models for processes, databases, and system applications, providing recommendations for improvement, and implementing procedural changes to ensure technical solutions align with organisational objectives, regulatory standards, and business needs. Additionally, the role involves providing thought leadership for strategic business and technology initiatives, considering both short- and long-term implications to support the delivery of features.

Responsibilities:

Manage assigned projects by prioritising tasks, adhering to deadlines, and meeting department objectives and performance metrics.Analyse business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity, and testability.Define testing scope, risks, and assumptions to design, build, and prioritise test cases.Work with QA, Application Development, and Project Management teams to ensure timely completion of testing plans.Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate change and support business needs.Recommend and design technology solutions to solve business challenges.Enhance individual development by seeking educational opportunities and researching innovative technology and methodologies.Participate in policy development to consider all factors at an early stage.Facilitate a QA function by creating quality test models, tracking defects, and communicating test progress.Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards to improve operational quality and productivity.

Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

Experience in a quality assurance function.Experience collaborating with developers and business analysts to ensure a quality software application.Experience managing quality assurance and testing processes.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
