Job Description
As a Testing Technician III, you will perform testing on equipment such as analog, digital, video, logic circuits, components, and instruments. You will measure power, signal, and temperature, review test results with staff, and make recommendations on repair, maintenance, and refinement of equipment. This position entails production-line testing, troubleshooting to the component level, and firmware installation. Experience with electronic components (resistors, capacitors, transformers, etc.) is essential to understanding circuitry and the ability to troubleshoot nonconforming products. Proficiency in operating basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, current clamps, and Hi-Pot machines is required.
ResponsibilitiesPerform testing on various equipment including analog, digital, video, logic circuits, components, and instruments.Measure power, signal, and temperature.Review test results with staff and make recommendations on equipment repair, maintenance, and refinement.Conduct production-line testing, troubleshooting to the component level, and firmware installation.Operate basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, current clamps, and Hi-Pot machines.Read schematics and troubleshoot circuit boards and units to the component level.Perform soldering and crimping tasks.Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a subordinate group, acting as an example for other technicians.Essential SkillsExperience with electronic components (resistors, capacitors, transformers, etc.)Proficiency in operating basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, current clamps, and Hi-Pot machines.Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot circuit boards and units to the component level.Soldering and crimping experience.3-5 years of experience in testing electrical components.High volume testing for production panels, bench testing, calibration, electrical panels, probe, high voltage, AC/DC.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to perform work under minimal supervision.Comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.Experience in providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a subordinate group.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00
