Lumentum is seeking a Tests Coordinator to work on Brazil R&D site. We are a group that develops innovation for Lumentum - we are driven to results, and we love technology!

This person will play a key role in the testing activities for product validation, reliability and qualification. In addition to working closely with the rest of the Test team, you will collaborate with other R&D engineering groups including hardware, firmware and optical packaging.

Responsibilities will include:

Coordinate testing activities for product validation, reliability and qualification.

Lead activities to develop and provide jigs and fixtures for tests and pilot lines placed globally.

Execute complete validation test, including hardware and firmware

Programming and automation for test systems, production equipment, traceability, and statistical data analysis.

Analyze current technologies used within the company to support the development of processes and products.

Critical analysis of testing results and problem solving for products and processes, including engineering debug and failure analysis for 8D reports.

Handling and configuration of optical spectrum analyzer, optical switches, wavelength meter, climatic chambers, optical power meter, benchtop power supplies, electrical oscilloscopes.

Global communication with developers, quality team, production team.

Elaboration of process documentation and technical reports.

Skills requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences or related fields.

Experience in product validation and qualification tests.

Programming knowledge.

Flexibility on learning from different areas and multidisciplinary project.

Comfortable with team development and versioning tools (GIT).

CMake, Valgrind, Jenkins (Desirable)
