Your work environment at EXP

EXP is looking for a Texas Aviation Market Lead for our Texas team to lead statewide initiatives (this position can be hybrid office). The projects are expected to be primarily in Austin, but also with other major aviation agencies across the state of Texas. EXP is searching for an experienced and industry respected professional who has been stuck at a number two position and is eager to establish themselves as a leader in this market.
 

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Identify, track and position for public sector procurements. Overall management of tasks performed under project contract and primary point–of-contact for all contractual issues. Will direct, manage, and build a multi-discipline team. Will be charged with planning, budgeting, construction documents and construction administration. Ensures that quality work is completed on schedule and within budget. Identify, research, and qualify RFP/ RFQ’s and upcoming projects. Serve as strategic partner with firm Directors and project teams to coordinate and create market strategies Initiate and maintain client contact. Identify and participate in conferences and speaking engagements. Assist with presentation materials for speaking engagements. Create and assemble brochures, presentations and proposals as needed in coordination with the marketing and business development group.

 

 What your experience looks like

BS in Architecture or Engineering Licensed Architect or Engineer in the state of Texas 10+ years of experience. 5+ years of experience with aviation related projects Established client relations and business development experience Proven Project Manager Deep knowledge of the regional market, drivers and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write persuasively. Experience with governmental forms required for proposal submissions. Must display strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness in accomplishing the firm’s internal and external marketing objectives. Must be a strategic thinker and understand the local competitive landscape.
