Responsible for leadership, strategy, growth, business execution, and operations for the Texas Rail Division, NG Sector, of EXP US Services, Inc. US operations.  The successful candidate is promoting the company culture and vision and is responsible for the growth and efficiency of the business for the Division, which includes building the practice from the ground up and maintaining control of the operations by establishing, communicating, and enforcing all EXP US Services, Inc. policies and procedures. The successful candidate is responsible for assessing emerging market opportunities and growing revenue through expanding current and future client relationships. The successful candidate drives growth across the division, looks for and captures new market opportunities, and builds organizational synergies across the EXP US Services, Inc. group.

 What a day at EXP has in store for you

Analyze, develop, and execute an approved strategy to secure long-term relationships with relevant clients across Texas. Evaluate existing client portfolio and establish key performance indicators partnering with the Business Development, Corporate Marketing and Regional Marketing teams to increase sales. Develop growth strategies and winning positions for EXP by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks, evaluating partners needs and goals, etc. Develop and execute plans that achievegrowth by buildinga diversified slate of clientcontracts. Evaluate opportunities to jump start growth and diversification of Texas client base using alternative delivery as the mechanism to grow ad build reputation. Support the EXP NG Team for opportunities for EXP with the Houston MetroRail, CAP Metro, Austin Transit Partners, Texas Central, FDOT Rail Division, BNSF, DART, AMTRAK, DCTA, TexRail Metro, Trinity Railway Express, etc. Evaluate Federal Agency opportunities in Texas and coordinate with Federal market development team to build work with Federal Agencies Identify and successfully implement capture plans for at least five new clients to EXP per year Coordinate with Sector VP Operations to identify and recruit staff locally to grow core capabilities to serve strategic clients.  Participate in the identification and recruitment of key hires and production staff in Texas.  Leverage EXP US Services, Inc. current technical capabilities to support and grow the technical and production teams. Drive strategic initiatives that will streamline processes and quickly increase the ability to scale the group.  Work with the Project Teams to support their delivery and quality for assigned projects. Manage the relationship with key clients and educate the team on policies and procedures. Serve as the Client Manager  Support growth in areas of current expertise across the southeast Serve as Project Manager for certain strategic projects, serving our clients in a technical role as well as an operational role as overall Project Manager Implement terms and conditions favorable to EXP. Support the Company in estimating bottom-up costs, and schedules for assigned projects. Work with the Project Delivery Teams to support their delivery and quality for assigned projects. Develop the risk mitigation strategy and lead its implementation. Mentor junior staff in project delivery processes and procedures Mentor junior staff in engineering management techniques Assist the EXP team in developing certain identified staff into experts in their respective fields.  Provide lunch and learn sessions for EXP staff to educate the group in specialized project delivery and successful execution. What your experience looks like

10 years progressively responsible experience in the freight and/or passenger rail business in Texas, well known project manager and leader in the community and licensed PE in Texas. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate alternative delivery pursuits and assure compliance with EXP’s policies Leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to support our US offices to develop EXP’s presence in the Texas market for large PPPs and complex infrastructure projects.  Responsible for business and commercial opportunities in the Texas Division for Alternative Delivery, including identifying and learning about the selection process for target projects, recommending win strategies for approval, negotiating teaming agreements with partners, team members selection and final presentations of the team to stakeholders, actively participating and leading the pursuit of specific projects in coordination with construction companies and concessionaries: In this role, the successful candidate is the Key Account Manager for certain key clients.  Currently, key clients in this market include: Texas Central High Speed Rail or its successor Texas DOT Rail Division CAP Metro and ATP DART, Trinity, Tex Rail  Houston Metrorail BNSF UP CP/KCS AMTRAK As part of the leadership of the Sector, responsibilities include identifying, recruiting, hiring, retaining and direct supervision of technical subject matter experts, Project Managers, production resources, and administrative persons located in the Texas Division geography.
