**A caregiver in this position works 5:00am - 1:30pm.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Collect soiled linens and stock and distribute clean linens.
+ Perform daily inventory to ensure clean linens and scrubs are stocked.
+ Record and process orders for lab coats and uniforms.
+ Help fit caregivers for new uniforms.
+ Issue lab coats and uniforms to authorized caregivers.
+ Sort and inspect returned uniforms.
+ Operate heat seal, button and embroidery machines.
+ Deliver lab coats and uniforms to locker rooms and coat closets.
+ Unload soiled items from gravity fed chutes.
+ Assemble various linen packs for use in surgery and other departments.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ A high school diploma or GED.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Computer or data entry experience.
+ Six months of experience in a customer service or laundry environment.

**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
+ Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
+ Ability to move items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)
+ Ability to inspect equipment
+ May require working with some exposure to communicable disease
