Ingredion has an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to work with our US/CAN Finance Team. In this internship position, you will assist in the assembling of financial data, perform financial analysis, and provide sufficient periodic financial information to support Ingredion's global strategic and financial objectives. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis which includes supporting operating expense annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic plan processes. You will also be performing a variety of other ad-hoc analysis. We believe that this internship will help supply you with the chance to apply lessons from the classroom to the corporate world.

As the T&HS US/CAN Finance Intern, your responsibilities may include:Assisting internal partners by compiling and reviewing Ingredion annual and 5-year strategic capital planSupporting monthly reporting, latest estimate financial forecasts, PowerBI reporting, and any ad-hoc analysis and reporting as neededPresenting the results of a key project or a summary of your findings to Finance leadership upon internship completionAssisting in the identification of improvement opportunities and development of action plansContributing to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure all required reporting is timely and accurateManaging positive relationships with internal partners to deliver results and support business performanceThe T&HS US/CAN Finance Intern position is well suited for you if you:Have good analytical and creative problem-solving skills required with a strong initiative to improve status-quoAre a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity, who is able to prioritize and have creative organizational skills to work within deadlinesHave proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels within the organizationWork with peers and others in the organization in a dynamic work environmentQualified candidates will have:Progress towards a Bachelor's degree program in Finance and/or Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferredAbility to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship termDemonstrated understanding of basic accounting/finance concepts and theories used in the business environmentProven proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience with SAP, BW, and Power BI is preferredReliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
