The Artemis Network Validation & Integration Lab (ANVIL) Manager will support the JETS II contract in Houston, Texas. \n
\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProvide strategic leadership both from a workload and funding perspective to the ANVIL lab.\nProvide technical leadership to the ANVIL lab and ANVIL Lab personnel.\nProvide task assignments and task tracking to ANVIL team.\nProvide technical Integration between Gateway labs, including managing interfaces between labs for joint tests.\nSupport services that affect the labs, including inter-lab network, physical and IT security, and facility.\nCoordination with external teams on lab certification plans, integration with program goals and schedules, and implementation of common services and processes.\nParticipate, track, and report on event execution including integrated demonstrations and tests.\nCoordinate and Manage facility space utilization and occupation.\nDesign and develop the Lab Network including the Time Triggered Ethernet Network.\nDesign, recommend, procure, install, configure and administer the computing hardware.\nDesign, recommend, procure, install, configure, secure and administer operating systems including Linux, VxWorks, and Windows systems.\nInstall, configure and troubleshoot vendor and partner software.\nEnsure compliance, operational sustainment and work with It managers to ensure compliance.\nScript repetitive tasks to ensure repeatability and rapid deployment.\nCode event simulations to evaluate various impacts to power systems on the spacecraft during different events.\nEffectively communicate with internal and external customers and be customer focused.\nManage, update, and maintain configuration management of lab and resources including documenting and maintaining a comprehensive Lab Configuration and operation.\nConduct project and resource planning and reporting (PPBE and TCSR).\nOther duties as assigned. \n\n

\n\nThis position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status due to the sensitivity of customer related information. \nRequires a bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a related area.\nMust have 10+ years of recent and related work experience in the field or in a related area.\nExperience leading a team of software and\/or hardware engineers.\nExperience with lab integration including facility and operations.\nExperience with technical integration including hardware and software integration.\nExperience with security planning, implementation, and maintenance.\nExperience with software license management including tracking and procurement.\nDemonstrate problem-solving background with accompanying troubleshooting skills.\nLinux\/Unix system administration, communication, user authentication and storage design, development and maintenance.\nNetwork analysis, configuration and administration.\nFirewall maintenance and administration.\nAutomation of system maintenance and reporting via scripting.\nMust be willing to work onsite at Johnson Space Center.\n\n

WORK LOCATION: \n\nThis position is located onsite. \nThis position offers a 9\/80 schedule, every other Friday off.\nThis position may require some travel. \n\n

STANDARD BASTION REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.\nAll of Bastion's employees must be team players. \nAble to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers.\nAble to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.\nMust have a strong work ethic and must be safety culture oriented.\nMust be organized with good time management skills.\nGenerally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.\nWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). \nMay require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).\nRegular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.\nAbility to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.\n\n
