Job Description:
The Compliance Analyst acts as a consultant, investigator, educator across limited departments and functions. This position is accountable for a limited portfolio of projects and processes and may be involved with actual implementation of projects, support, or monitoring to ensure successful implementation and sustainment. The position interacts with system leaders, physicians and clinicians, and caregivers in assigned departments and areas.This Compliance & Ethics Analyst works with the Chief Privacy Officer to evaluate, develop and implement the day-to-day operations of Intermountain’s Privacy Compliance Program across multiple HIPAA covered entities and Intermountain companies. Areas of responsibility include investigating privacy complaints and concerns including gathering facts, participating in interviews, analyzing findings, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining appropriate documentation. This position is responsible for responding to privacy-related questions from patients, providers, management and employees, auditing privacy compliance, and providing privacy education and training. A successful new hire in this role will have a minimum of one year’s privacy experience and experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders on projects across diverse environments.
Position Details:
This is a hybrid position, with a mix of on-site and remote work. Incumbent will work Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.

Demonstrated professional experience in healthcare, compliance or related field. Demonstrates knowledge of health care regulations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
