The Role
CAA is seeking an assistant to support the Theatre Business Affairs Executive. This Executive is responsible for negotiating deals for writing, directing, acting, and producing clients in the Theatre space. Candidates should be driven, detail oriented and extremely organized. A passion for Theatre and either a strong interest in the business side of Theatre or pursuing a law degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support, including phones, coordinating meetings, schedules and travel, preparing expense reports, and producing correspondenceManage high volume of negotiations for dozens of high-level clientsAssist with special projects, research, and compiling information as neededQualifications
BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferredAt least 1 year of experience at an agency, theatre company, or entertainment companyMust be computer literate and possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must possess strong organizational and communication skillsMust possess the ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracyMust have ability to meet deadlines, and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneouslyTeam oriented and able to work in a fast paced, demanding, ever changing environmentLocation

Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
