Project Aide ANNOUNCEMENT OF NON- PROFESSIONAL VACANCY Applications are invited for consideration to the following position Department: The STAR Program Budget Title: Project Aide Salary Range: (Based Upon Experience)$17.00 Descriptive Title:THEO Peer Assistant Part-time, variable days and hours per week. Vacancy 21-33 Description of Duties: - Work closely YHAP Project Staff to develop advocacy, outreach, and prevention education materials aimed at YMSM, LGBTQ, and non traditional populations. Learn and be proficient in the use of YHAP presentation/workshop materials. - Conduct monthly presentations. - Provide administrative support to the THEO staff and Peers, as needed. - Plan, Develop, Implement, and maintain all social media initiatives. - Attend monthly staff meetings, mandatory trainings (Community Promise - Co, Be Proud, Be Responsible - BPBR), and seminars. Qualifications: REQUIRED: High School Diploma with 1 year experience or college student majoring in Public Health, Social Work, Education or Counseling. PREFERRED: Interest in Sexual Health Education, HIV Prevention,Community Outreach or Counseling. Must have Public Speaking skills and clerical skills to assist in an office setting.
