DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Therapeutic Activities Aide, you will conduct planned activity sessions that help residents achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, and social abilities. You will plan activities and outings that enhance socialization, interpersonal relationships, and self-esteem; m aintain working relationships with veterans service organizations; and i nstruct residents individually and in group sessions. This role requires the ability to c reate a safe and cordial atmosphere for residents while o bserving behaviors in order to provide reports to multi-disciplinary care teams. In addition, you will address transportation and escort needs, m aintain an adequate inventory of therapeutic activity supplies, and attend training and educational programs. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment, 40 hours per week + Work hours are 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
