AbbVie Canada is looking to connect with a sales professional who will work with physicians and allied health professional in hospitals and the community. You will promote the benefits of Botox for patients who suffer from Chronic Migraine, Spasticity and Movement Disorders. This role is based in Montreal, Québec, and the territory includes Montreal (and surrounding area) as well as the Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions. Our Therapeutic Specialists develop robust business plans to execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, deliver strong sales performance and effectively build meaningful customer relationships. Keeping the patient at the heart of all efforts, our Therapeutic Specialists operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, respecting policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: + Deliver strong sales performance by achieving brand KPIs, financial targets and accelerating territory growth. + Create pre-call plans and execute post-call evaluations to identify areas of opportunity for differentiation and to change behaviour. + Build meaningful customer relationships by bringing value to each interaction and working cross functionally to make sure customer needs are met in a timely manner. + Execute the set target plan to achieve established metrics and optimize coverage of key customers, maximizing sales goals. + Gain understanding of customer/territory needs and potential barriers, territory landscape, market dynamics and competitive insights and activities. Share this market intelligence information with district manager and cross functional team to achieve alignment, anticipate market changes and to optimize execution of brand strategy. + Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers and identify, develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance. + Manage an annual allocated budget for territory activities by strategically selecting and planning events that will provide the greatest impact and return on investment for the business. Qualifications Education/Experience Required: + Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science or equivalent. + Minimum of two years experience in a Specialty Sales role within the pharmaceutical industry, plus a minimum of two years Key Account Management experience. + Previous experience working in the field of Neurology is an asset. + Physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care or marketing experience preferred. + Proven track record achieving/surpassing sales results. + Experience working in a cross functional or matrix environment, building collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and other team members. + Experience giving presentations and facilitating events/meetings. + Strong business acumen and proficient using business tools; possesses strategic, analytic and critical thinking capabilities. + Experience creating innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities for the larger organization Essential skills & abilities: + Fully bilingual (French and English) with strong oral and written proficiency in both languages. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) + Must be at ease with technology (the use of various tools/systems to perform day-to-day tasks). + Position requires occasional evening/ weekend work and may include overnight travel. + Valid driver’s license and passport. Key in-field team competencies: + Ability to think strategically to develop and execute a high-quality territory plan. + Display sound business judgment (having an executive leadership mindset) to assess local market dynamics and competitive activity. + In-depth analytical skills, to assess business outcomes and determine next best course of action to achieve strategic goals. + Recognized expert with in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge. + Effectively communicate and collaborate with in-field team members, to develop and maximize the integrated account plan.
