Therapist, Assertive Community Treatment - Belcamp, MD ($5,000 sign-on bonus)

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) programs provide comprehensive, mobile treatment services for adults with a persistent mental health illness. The program is for individuals who have not found success in traditional outpatient settings and who require individualized treatment services when and where it’s needed. This position is hiring for both full time, part-time, and PRN positions with flexibility for scheduling.

What to expect.

This is a social and human services opportunity to provide individualized treatment, sometimes utilizing non-traditional therapeutic strategies that allow your clients to feel comfortable. You will meet each client where they are and help develop a treatment plan that is built on trust and safety.

Specific responsibilities include:

Providing individual, family, and/or group therapy. Working with a multi-disciplined team to develop and implement treatment interventions and strategies. Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation as a part of your case management responsibilities. Transporting and/or accompanying clients to community resources and services.

Work hours typically follow a Monday – Friday schedule. Must have availability for occasional evening and/or weekend work. You will have independence and flexibility to schedule your appointments and complete your work under the program director’s direct approval and supervision.

What we need from you.

One of the following licenses: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.

The pay range for this position is $66,000 minimum to $85,000 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
