SUMMARY OF POSITION

Full time.  Provides therapy to clients in a school setting.  School based 10 months with 2 months of the summer off.    

NEW RATES! Salary: $42,315.00 10-month position. (Salary increases in accordance with post Masters experience--Additional earning potential over the summer if desired) Sign on bonus eligible plus a retention bonus.

Centerstone’s school-based therapy program is searching for individuals with a passion for helping grades K-12 thrive by improving mental and emotional health. What we seek in an employee:

Employees that desire to make a difference within rural school settings. Work well with school staff and administration as well as with a treatment team comprised of therapist, case managers, medication providers, nurses, and support staff to meet the collective goal of “delivering care that changes lives”. Complete documentation in a thorough and timely fashion, and follow policies and procedures related to client care. Finally, provide person centered and holistic therapeutic services to the individuals and families we serve.

      

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Care plans reviewed and updated.Progress notes completed within current agency guidelines.Responds to supervisory request for urgent care situations and coverage for vacant caseloads. Keeps administrative supervisor informed of all potential issues that could impact the program or the organization.         Responds to needs of consumers in a timely and professional manner.Demonstrates good clinical judgment in decision making regarding consumers.               

QUALIFICATIONS

      Education Level              

This position requires a master’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health, or related field. Prefer candidate to be license eligible in their chosen field.

Successful applicants should have at a minimum, course work and/or work experience including clinical internships, in the following topics: treatment and treatment planning, appraisal and assessment of mental disorders, psychopathology, and the use of the DSM in assigning a diagnosis.
