The Therapist Plans, organizes and implements clinical counseling services to consumers and families. Plans for discharge and aftercare. Maintains contact with referring agencies, treatment team providers, and related people, and with the community resources used for referral. Maintains treatment records. Assess and interprets data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provides the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group.
The Family Crisis Intervention Unit's (FCIU) purpose is to provide crisis intervention services to families in crisis in order to divert them from the formal court system, to stabilize them, to keep them intact and to prevent out-of-home placement. FCIU offers 6-8 weeks of family therapy.
Hours:
Full time, some evening hours required.
