Essential Job Functions:
Complete intake/screening and/or comprehensive assessment process within appropriate time frames as designated by state regulatory/CARF/agency standards.
Determine and document diagnosis based on comprehensive assessment.
Develop treatment plans for clients in accordance with state regulatory /CARF guidelines that demonstrate individualization and evolution based on information gathered from assessment.
Complete all correspondence in a timely fashion.
Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings providing feedback on all pertinent cases.
Adhere to weekly service provision model.
Work closely with insurance department to ensure authorized services are approved and adequate information is provided within specified time frames.
Document all services provided in accordance with DMH/CARF/agency standards.
Ensure that services are entered within the appropriate time frame, appropriate format, notes refer to treatment plans, etc.
Correct any file/charting deficiencies within appropriate time frame.
Assist clients through transition process and complete final correspondence such as transition summary, plan, letter, etc.
Complete all mandatory trainings meeting state regulatory /CARF Standards, obtaining 36 hours of training every 2 years with focus on EBP and improved clinical skill sets (MO) and 40 hours of training every 2 years with 3 hours being Ethics (KS).
Represent the agency within the community in a professional manner.
Maintain positive, professional relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers, adhering to Code of Ethics and agency policies.
Handle crisis situations as they arise.
Assist in Professional Supervision once all professional requirements have been met.
Facilitate group counseling, group education, family therapy, and individual sessions including specialty services such as trauma and co-occurring therapy.
Provide training and guidance on Clinical issues that may arise and evidenced based practices.
Provide Clinical Consultation to treatment team members when necessary.
Demonstrates interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company.
Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor, Program Director, Vice President, or the Executive Team members..
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Shall have training and demonstrate expertise regarding diagnostic criteria of individuals with substance use disorders and mental health issues.
Thorough knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods, principles and techniques as they relate to mental health and substance use disorder treatment services.
Detailed knowledge of the problems encountered by persons with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Considerable knowledge of the methods and modalities as well as the legal requirements and court procedures related to treating mental health and substance use disorders.
Knowledge of supervisory and training techniques and practices used in a mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment setting.
Aptitude to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned program.
Capable of communicating ideas clearly and effectively verbally and in writing to produce clear and concise reports.
Experience and Education Qualifications:
Holds licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state that they are practicing as a professional counselor or social worker.
Missouri: Provisional Licensed (PLPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Provisional Licensed (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)
Kansas: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW).
Illinois: Licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Qualified Mental Health Professional, for Missouri only
An individual possessing a master’s or doctorate degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or related field who has successfully completed a practicum or has one (1) year of experience under the supervision of a qualified mental health professional
Applicant must be willing to become licensed in additional states, other than the state currently licensed in. Applicant must be willing and comfortable with providing telehealth services to the individuals we serve.

Employment Requirements:

Completion of New Hire Orientation within 30 Days of employment.
All training requirements including Relias Learning within two (2) weeks of employment and annually thereafter.
First Aid certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date.
Obtain CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date.
Behavioral Management training completed within thirty (30) days of employment or first available class after start date:
CPI for Residential programs
Peaceful Intervention or Verbal De-escalation for Outpatient programs
Completion of “Direct Service Expectations” within 30 Days of employment.
Achievement of thirty-six (36) hour training requirements within 2 year period in accordance with 9 CSR 10-7.110 E 1.
Growth and Development form (CPRC only) within thirty (30) days of employment.
Privileging and Credentialing form (CPRC only) within thirty (30) days of employment.
Knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the program to which the associate is assigned.

CLARITY:
Essential Job Functions:

Adhere to weekly patient schedules and productivity model.
Accept warm hand-offs from Primary Care providers to promote Integrated Care by establishing a patient-therapist relationship to improve patient compliance with medical treatment.
Work closely with insurance department to ensure authorized services are approved and adequate information is provided within specified time frames.
Document all services provided in accordance with agency standards.
Correct any file/charting deficiencies within appropriate time frame.

Complete telehealth intake/screening/assessment process.
Promote Integrated Care by establishing a patient-therapist relationship to improve patient compliance with medical treatment.
Complete all mandatory training for the state of IL.
Facilitate family conferences, and individual sessions via telehealth at Clarity and/or Preferred Family Healthcare locations.
Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor, Program Director or Vice President.

Knowledge of supervisory and training techniques and practices used in a mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment setting.
Aptitudes to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned program.

Provide professional clinical services to clients including assessment, referral, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and follow-up care in the office and in community settings.
Collaborates with the treatment team to ensure proper coordination and delivery of prescribed interventions and objectives as presented in treatment plan.
Ensure client receives individualized and age appropriate therapeutic interventions for individual, group, family and case management services as prescribed in the treatment plan.
Complete all clinical and administrative documentation in a timely and ethical manner and in accordance with policies.
Attend and actively participate in professional staffing session with the Clinical Supervisor. Be available for individual supervision as required by the Clinical Supervisor or leadership team.
Participate as and after-hours "on-call" clinician to conduct crisis intervention.
