Position Summary
Provides therapy and case management to clients with Severe and Persistent mental illness. Monitors physical and mental health needs within a wellness and recovery model.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Provides primary case management services.
2. Leads therapeutic groups.
3. Oversees the client population when not in therapeutic groups.
4. Provides individual therapy and crisis intervention services during Day Hospital hours.
5. Accurately documents client attendance and participation within designated policy time frames.
6. Maintains JCAHO standards and DMHAS specialty regulations, Medicaid Regulations, and HBH policy and procedure.

Partial Hospital Clients, Staff of HBH and HMC, Transportation Providers, Regulatory personnel, Community referral sources, families

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field

Two years experience in the field of mental health

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Knowledge of the DSM-5, De-escalation Techniques, Ability to work with people with Severe and Persistent mental illness, Group Therapy expertise.
