Therapist-Adolescent Residential **Hillcrest Family Services** 1 Positions ID: 94513 Posted On 01/21/2025 **Job Overview** As the **Adolescent Residential Therapist** **,** you will be responsible for providing direct care and therapeutic support to adolescents in a residential treatment setting. The counselor is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, facilitating group and induvial therapy sessions, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote the mental health and well-being of the youth in care. Additional responsibilities include: **Your Responsibilities** + Build positive relationships with residents to foster trust and cooperation + Implement individualized treatment plans as developed by the clinical team. + Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on various therapeutic goals. + Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address mental health issues, trauma, and behavioral problems. + Respond to crises and behavioral incidents promptly and effectively. + Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors. + Provide support and intervention during emotional and behavioral crises. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents’ progress, behaviors, and interventions.
