POSITION PURPOSE: Our Outpatient Therapists for this position provides care to those served as part of our team that works with individuals with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.
You will provide level of care assessments, individual and group psychotherapy to adults, and work to incorporate the strengths of their supports in their environments to maintain their recovery efforts in the community. While all therapists are expected to manage their caseloads and function independently, they’ll also collaborate with others in a team-based approach to care.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Provide psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and clinical interventions for clientsComplete biopsychosocial assessments to determine client’s strengths, needs, and diagnosisComplete documentation within the electronic health record in congruence with organizational policies and regulatory requirements to ensure quality indicators and productivity requirements are metEngage with the clients’ natural supports to strategize methods of supporting client goal progress and wellbeing and collaborate with members of the treatment team, community members, and third-party providersAttend and participate in clinical, administrative, and community partner meetingsOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS:
Master’s in Human Services and 1 year of care delivery experience. Graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicumPre-Employment Drug ScreenAccess to reliable transportationAct 33 – Child Abuse History ClearanceAct 34 – Criminal Record CheckAct 114 – FBI Fingerprint Criminal Background CheckLicensure eligibility required (i.e. applicant is working on obtaining their LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist)POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS:
Work Schedule: This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position Monday through Friday, primarily 9:00am-5:00pm, with one evening available per week to meet the needs of persons served.
