The Treatment and Learning Centers has an opening for Full-time, part-time/PRN licensed Therapist/Counselor/ to work with children, teens, parents, and/or families. EOE The Treatment and Learning Centers (TLC) is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1950. It is an interdisciplinary organization. Each year, TLC’s programs serve more than 2,000 individuals with a wide range of special needs and neurodiversity. We use a holistic and strengths-based approach that considers needs in the home, at work or school, and in the community, working across disciplines to address the needs of the whole person. Responsibilities of the Therapist: + Conduct initial diagnostic interview to determine the most appropriate service to be offered within TLC + Provide individual, family, parent and group counseling services + Maintain a caseload of 13 clients for part-time, and 24 clients for full time employment. Caseload may be altered for group therapy interventions + Ensure daily notes, goals, progress reports, and discharge reports are completed in a timely manner + Conduct patient/parent conferencing in order to regularly document and summarize patient response to treatment Come and be part of a collaborative team! Requirements of the Counselor/Therapist: + LCPC or LGPC must have a MA or MS in counseling or a related field and maintain a current license. Experience with ASD/LD, neurodivergence. + FT/PT candidates must be able to work M-F during regular business/school hours + PRN candidates must have the ability to work in the evening at least twice per week and on Saturdays + Experience in the areas of learning disabilities, Autism and ADHD preferred + Interest in play therapy and working with young children preferred
