Therapist - MoCo Reconnect - Wheaton, MD

MoCo ReConnect is a program that provides comprehensive support for 16-24-year-olds who have experienced trauma and are disconnected from education or employment, often facing housing instability. The program offers a safe and inclusive space where participants can access essential services, including mental health support, GED preparation, temporary lodging, nutritious meals, laundry facilities, showers, and opportunities to relax. MoCo ReConnect also fosters a supportive community environment, particularly for LGBTQIA+ individuals, in collaboration with Montgomery County Collaboration Council (MCCC) and other partners.

What to expect.

You will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to a caseload of 8-12 clients. This role operates on a Monday-Friday schedule, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

Provide clinical assessment and treatment services to assigned clients, including individual, family, and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Maintain proficiency in multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities that address each client's unique needs. Complete and maintain all required clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to Sheppard Pratt’s documentation policies and procedures.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
