Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Therapy Aide to join our team!
The Physical Therapy Aide is a non-licensed worker who has completed on the job training and works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist and carry out patient care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
This is a fast-paced position and to be successful in the role, it will require someone to be self-motivated and self-driven.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. Day shift Monday – Friday.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices in a physical therapy setting normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience, on the job training of complex technical duties, and a clear demonstration of competence at performing Physical Therapy Aide duties.Previous experience in healthcare or customer service beneficial.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire A history of school and work performance that gives evidence of ability to meet the job requirements beneficial.
