Start your new career as a Thermoformer Operator with MAU at our client in Conyers, GA. As a Thermoformer Operator, you will load and unload a thermoforming machine, controlling the machine to ensure the parts produced meet the required specifications.
What We Offer $20 per hour 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for advancement Referral program What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Previous machine operation experience Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic Ability to follow detailed work instructions Basic computer understanding Knowledge of machinery Strong mechanical aptitude with great knowledge and experience using various hand tools and power tools Ability to lift 26 – 50 pounds Ability to stoop, bend, and walk for much of the shift What You’ll Do as a Thermoformer Operator Load and unload the forming machine with appropriate materials to facilitate forming requirements using oven Read and interpret work instructions and any other related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations and dimensional and finished specifications Perform de-burring, sanding, and grinding operations as necessary to meet specifications Cut and trim plastic pieces as necessary using hand routers or a band saw Inspect each part to ensure quality standards Monitor machine for any mechanical problems Complete all necessary paperwork and enter computer production information, cycle times, daily production numbers, scrap Can advance to completing set up and change-over procedures of the molds and fixtures Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to ensure quality standards Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations Perform other tasks as assigned
