Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a continuing thinning analysis capability within KAMTEK for metal formability. The Team Leader will implement the work schedules through direct assignment and monitoring of Thinning Analysis Associates. Maintain equipment used in measurement and testing of automotive parts. Support the development of Thinning Analysis Associates through positive human relations strategies. The Thinning Analyst Team Leader will provide assistance to the Thinning Analysis/Press Department in a way that supports the Magna Charter, MAGNA Operational Principles, Corporate Constitution, customers, investors and employees. He/She will support the departmental leadership and Team Members to successfully meet goals and objectives by providing guidance, technical expertise and resources needed in order to be safe and productive. Monitor work performed by Thinning Analysis team members to ensure that KAMTEK standards are met.

-Understanding of draw and form operations and functions of a Draw Die

-Must be willing to work extended or flexible hours as needed

-Provide the lead in training personnel in Formability Analysis and related techniques

-Have experience & use of XL & Power Point Software.

- Able to organize and send out data reports

Education

Sheet metal process and fabrication experience with a solid background in applied mathematics, including algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills - XL & Power Point Software.

Work exprience

minimum 3 years with sheet metal stamping and/or fabrication with a sound background in problem solving and root-cuase analysis is desired.
