About the Role
This key role is for a Third-Party Contracts lead required on one of DXC’s “platinum” accounts to lead all activities that relate to third party supplier contracts, including ensuring compliance with prime contract provisions and Financial Services regulatory requirements. This role requires an individual with strong communication skills who can liaise with internal and external (both customer and suppler side) stakeholders. The account is one of the most high-profile accounts in DXC and is highly complex in nature; the successful candidate should have the ability to distill complex requirements into realistic and achievable goals and provide direction to relevant teams accordingly.
Daily challenges
Provide leadership in ensuring that DXC meets customer contractual and financial regulatory requirements in its use of third-party suppliers.Lead account “Third Party Compliance” and “Vendor Risk Management” activities providing day-to-day guidance to relevant teams.Define and manage internal processes to ensure ongoing compliance of third parties.Negotiate new third-party contracts and contract changes as required to ensure that appropriate risk and regulatory requirements are “flown down”.Interact with customer (including audit teams) to demonstrate DXC processes and compliance with regards to third party contracts.Provide ongoing advice to account teams regarding legal and commercial implications of specific terms and conditions in third party contracts, including by negotiating, analyzing, drafting and reviewing such contracts.Ensure coordination (by providing direction to account “Third Party Compliance” and “Vendor Risk Management” teams) of all required artefacts for new vendor onboarding and annual compliance checks.Leadership of monthly Third-Party Contracts Governance Board with client.Act as escalation point for third party contract issues.Maintain regular reports of third-party compliance issues for account management team.Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about third party contractual issues.Guiding DXC's managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.eXperience and skills required
Master`s degree in Law; (A Business or Law Degree from a European/ US University is an advantage)Professional Fluency in English and strong communication skills.5 years’+ experience in a law firm and/or global corporation. Outsourcing/financial services sector experience would be considered an advantage.Ability to provide guidance/interpretation on existing contract provisions.Ability to negotiate both on customer and supplier side.Demonstrable knowledge and judgment about contractual and commercial risks/issues in transactions.Good working knowledge of the fundamental legal provisions of commercial contracts.Company benefits
