This individual will be responsible for creating and executing on the Global Procurement & Third-Party management strategy across Cigna International. The individual will focus on setting high level strategies regarding the use of third-party relationships and to reduce the organization’s overall third-party risks and costs without compromising quality or reliability of the Cigna supply chain. The incumbent will lead the organization's overall third-party management function and establish plans, policies, systems, and procedures that will achieve the business’ strategic objectives. This individual will identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce sourcing and purchasing costs by improving the organization's buying patterns and enhancing Cigna's global supply chain. This position will interface with all levels of management across the business units providing guidance on third party issues. This individual must build working relationships with associates at all levels across other Cigna business units fostering support for these programs where required. This position will manage exempt employees and will have many matrixed relationships to manage in other Cigna business units to ensure the effectiveness of the programs.
