Third Party Risk Management Analyst

The Third Party Risk Management Analyst is a hybrid remote position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

Responsible for identifying, assessing, analyzing, and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors. Develop and manage a comprehensive third-party risk management program, ensuring compliance with global and domestic risk management standards, and collaborating with various departments to maintain a robust governance process.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop, implement, and manage a third-party risk management strategy for each project and integration.Conduct thorough risk assessments of third-party vendors, including analyzing risk assessment requests and questionnaires.Analyze third-party policies and data to ensure compliance with McLane requirements.Monitor and report on the overall health of projects, ensuring risks and action plans are accurately recorded and addressed.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global and domestic risk management standards and ensure compliance.Collaborate with internal and external managers and suppliers to monitor changes and potential impacts on the company.Perform full assessments of existing vendors before renewing contracts and continually monitor vendor risk through a security scorecard.Prepare for incident management and breach reporting, ensuring the integrity of asset information.Design, develop, and generate reports to communicate and monitor potential risks and liabilities.Conduct scheduled and spot checks on hardware and software to ensure compliance with policies and practices.Perform exit management to protect data networks when a vendor is no longer working with the company.Provide training on third-party risk management programs and policies to relevant stakeholders. Provide superior service delivery and support to line of business clients and corporate sector clients.Oversee and assist in the technical build of tools for risk management.Deliver reporting for various disciplines such as Vendor Risk Management (VRM), Contract Management (CM), and Vendor Management (VM).Employ analytics features to compile and synthesize data to make grounded recommendations.Champion and execute updates to existing reporting and technology frameworks to reduce risk and enhance efficiency.Oversee and liaise with broader technology teams to ensure all feeds and updates between systems are optimized.Ensure effective implementation of operational risk and third-party/vendor risk management.Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Three or more years of experience in third-party risk management and vendor management.Certifications in risk management, information security, or related fields preferred.Experience in risk analysis, auditing, finance, project management, and financial services preferred.Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and laws.Superior communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work outside of normal business hours to complete implementations and resolve issues.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to establish metrics and deliver against them in a consistent and repeatable process.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
