**Job Summary and Qualifications**
JOB SUMMARY
The Cyber/Physical Intelligence Engineer supports the cyber threat intelligence program within the Information Protection & Security department. The Cyber/Physical Intelligence Engineer serves as a curious and investigative team member within the intelligence operations including; collection, analysis, reporting, and application of cyber threat intelligence within the cyber security team as well as with key intelligence stakeholders throughout the company.
The Cyber/Physical Intelligence Engineer is responsible for maintaining knowledge, tools, capabilities, and relationships to collect and synthesize raw threat intelligence into meaningful and actionable intel. Within the Cyber Security team, the Cyber Intelligence Engineer will partner with multiple roles such as countermeasures, reverse engineering, cyber analytics, cyber tools, and the Cyber Defense Center to improve our threat detection and response capabilities. This role will have a focus on detecting, monitoring, and reporting physical security threat intelligence that appears in digital media and supporting our physical security program with timely and actionable threat intelligence.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Build and execute processes related to the intelligence lifecycle.
+ Utilize tools to collect and analyze raw threat intelligence.
+ Engage in low level threat hunting, event investigation and triage by using a broad spectrum of security tools.
+ Develop and maintain two-way threat intelligence sharing by partnering with Cyber analytics and cyber tools to enhance the threat detection ecosystem.
+ Create finished intelligence reporting for key threat intelligence stakeholders.
+ Maintain distribution processes for intelligence products.
+ Provide written and verbal briefs to stakeholders, as needed.
+ Track adversaries specifically targeting HCA and healthcare, and maintain up to date understanding of their TTPs in the Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP).
+ Engage with ISACs and other intelligence sharing organizations on two-way threat intelligence sharing.
+ Provide direct support to the physical security team in monitoring online/digital media for threats targeting HCA Healthcare with a focus on physical threats targeting our facilities, staff, and executive leadership.
+ Leverage platforms that are designed to monitor social media at scale for content of interest. Provide routine reporting on this activity.
+ Leverage platforms designed to investigate accounts and persons of interest in threat intelligence investigations. Provide routine reporting on this activity.
+ Execute tasks as assigned by other engineers in cyber threat intelligence capabilities, practices, tools, and daily operations.

+ 3+ years
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
+ Curious, investigative, eager to learn
+ Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are required.
+ Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
+ Conceptual understanding of intelligence operations, value, and intelligence lifecycle.
+ Fundamental understanding of technology in an enterprise infrastructure
+ Conceptual knowledge of the differences between raw and finished intelligence
+ Conceptual knowledge of event and log correlation
+ Fundamental knowledge of the OSI reference model
+ Fundamental understanding of security concepts including threat detection and response, threat hunting, and adversary emulation
+ Able to work independently with minimal supervision while balancing multiple work efforts
+ Law enforcement background a plus
+ Familiarity with online persona management and tracking
