Job Summary: Panasonic Energy is seeking a highly experienced Threat Intelligence Specialist to join our Security & Resilience team. This position offers the flexibility of partial remote work, with a preference for candidates based in the northern Nevada area. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying and analyzing potential threats, delivering actionable intelligence to safeguard our operations, and ensuring the resilience of our infrastructure against emerging risks. This role demands a proactive, self-starting leader and communicator who can drive the intelligence strategy across all levels of the organization, with a particular focus on maintaining the operational integrity of our processes. Essential Duties: Develop and deliver comprehensive intelligence packages for senior leadership, focusing on potential threats including physical, cyber, and reputational risks. Conduct in-depth research and analysis across multiple data sources to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the organization. Monitor and analyze global and regional threat landscapes, providing actionable intelligence that informs security strategies and decision-making processes. Perform travel risk assessments for executives and key personnel, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to ensure their safety during domestic and international travel. Utilize industry-recognized threat measurement philosophies to assess risks, develop threat models, and create mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligence findings into broader security and resilience plans. Maintain and update a threat intelligence database, ensuring it reflects current and emerging threats to the organization. Provide real-time threat intelligence during critical incidents, aiding in the organization’s response and recovery efforts. Prepare and present regular intelligence briefings and reports to senior leadership, ensuring they are informed of the latest threat trends and risk assessments. Stay current with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in threat intelligence and apply them to enhance the organization’s threat detection capabilities. Demonstrate a passion for research and analysis, willing to spend significant time scouring data sources to uncover critical insights that enhance organizational security. Qualifications Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Studies, Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. 5-10 years of experience in threat intelligence, risk assessment, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering actionable intelligence. Strong expertise in threat analysis, intelligence gathering, and risk assessment methodologies. Demonstrated experience in creating and presenting intelligence packages to senior leadership, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Proficiency in using intelligence tools, databases, and analytical software to monitor, analyze, and report on emerging threats. Familiarity with industry-standard threat measurement philosophies and frameworks. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to sift through large volumes of data to identify critical insights and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field such as Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, or Security Management. Experience working in a security role within the manufacturing or energy sectors, with a focus on protecting critical infrastructure. Proficiency in a second language, particularly one relevant to geopolitical areas of interest (e.g., Mandarin, Russian, Arabic).
