Ticket Scanning Lead
Overview The Highlands is currently seeking a new Ticket Scanning Lead to join our team! As a Lead you should be a leader that is friendly, approachable and detail oriented. You will be the support for ensuring that any guest using the ski lifts has a valid pass, assisting with any questions or concerns regarding the RFID equipment or pertaining to our guests, providing information as needed, and organizing break rotations. This is a full-time seasonal position with flexible scheduling and a fun work environment! The Lead works closely with supporting scanners at the lifts. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures. Ensuring maze maintains a smooth and functional flow of traffic while periodically tightening up any loose ropes or poles. Responsibilities in assisting and addressing complaints and resolving problems; maintaining an organized break rotation between lifts. Working closely with the supervisor to address said complaints or concerns. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working outside in adverse weather conditions. Responsible for the resolution of guest issues and assisting in service recovery. Crosstrain with ticket sales to have the ability to solve guests' ticket issues. Scan and visually check each ticket/pass for validity. Assist in motivation within the scanning department. Maintain an organized break rotation between lifts to ensure scanners are getting adequate lunch and restroom breaks. Encouraging and maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable work environment. Promotes and ensures safety in the participation and completion of all job duties. Troubleshoots and verifies the proper functionality of RFID scanning equipment. Assists in the daily operation, including set up and tear down of the maze. Utilize barriers and gates to assist in traffic control of skiers and snowboarders. Work as an ultimate resort host with the ability to aid with directions, provide information pertaining to the resort, and answer any guests' questions or concerns. Qualifications At least 2 years of Guest Service Experience At least 1 year of Leadership Experience Must be able to work in all weather conditions outside for extended periods of time Able to lift at least 55lbs High School Diploma or GED Must be able to walk or stand 6-8 hours per day *Single Bed, no pets.
