SALARY: $16.50 Hourly
Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time Ticket Seller for Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Open and or closes ticket window as required.Assist customers by selling tickets on varies ticketing platforms.Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons; accepts payment and makes change accurately.Handles Will-Call window according to procedures.Maintain accurate count when selling hard tickets or accesses computer for count of computer printed tickets.Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating and events. Gives information concerning coming attractions.Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and responds promptly to customer service needs.Work with minimal supervision and handle most box office questions without assistance.May be asked to work entry doors as ticket taker or to help guest find seating.Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays – event by event basis.Other duties may be assignedEducation and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)1 or more years customer service experience and/or trainingOr equivalent combination of education and experienceBox office or guest services background preferredSkills and Abilities
Ability to count money and make change accuratelyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAble to read and interpret written informationAbility to listen and follow instructionsAbility to input data into a computer to record sales transactionsDemonstrated knowledge of ticket selling/box office operation preferredWork independently, exercising judgement and initiative. Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.Previous experience working with the public is desired.Physical Demands
