POSITION: Ticket Seller Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Box Office
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Part-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide professional communication between promoters, public, box office staff and venue staffAssist the daily operations as outlined in the ASM box office manualCoordinate event information between promoters, facility personnel, box office staff and ticketing company in a timely mannerPrepare and presents final box office statements to promoters, directors, finance and event manager with related backup paperwork for each eventAssist in completion of daily reconciliation and closing reports as requiredSupervise box office operations at various venue locationsSupervise, and instruct staff on the Ticketmaster and APEX ticketing systems along with other aspects of box office operationsAssist or sell tickets as needed at the box office windows or internallyOpen and Close box offices for daily ticket sales and eventsAssist in processing ticket requests as neededDaily balancing of cashiers, maintaining records of cash received, credit cards and cash banksSubmit daily bank depositsOther duties as assignedQualifications
Strong problem-solving, organizational, & multi-tasking skillsExcellent customer service and teamwork skillsManage staff and maintain all box office policies and proceduresMust possess working knowledge of the Ticketmaster and AXS ticketing computer systemsMust comprehend and use bookkeeping and standard accounting/cash handling practicesAbility to assist customers with phone/app maneuverabilityMust operate personal computers using Windows and various Microsoft softwareAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust meet ASM credit guidelinesEducation and Experience
Knowledge of supervisory principles and practicesMust have one year of Box Office experienceTicketmaster system experience requiredMust have basic knowledge of Box Office operationsPhysical Demands
