LEMOYNE / LEGENDS

Legends’ focus will be to enhance the athletics fundraising efforts for Le Moyne College. The planned renovations to the Niland complex will add to and upgrade fields, fitness and wellness facilities used by students, faculty and staff, as well as those living in the neighborhoods surrounding campus.  The partnership will allow for Le Moyne to accelerate its fundraising efforts across the entirety of the College. Legends will develop a sustainable fundraising approach to provide for annual gifts going forward, building a culture of athletic philanthropy that will develop a pipeline for major gifts in the future.   

THE ROLE   

Reporting to the Director, Collegiate Fundraising, the Ticketing & Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for contributing to the success of the Athletics facilities campaign, as part of the larger Athletics Strategic Plan. The Advancement Officer will be responsible for expanding the philanthropic support of Le Moyne College Athletics through soliciting Leadership Annual Giving level donations and supporting the Major Gift Officers and the Director in building a major gift pipeline to support the success of the campaign.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Cultivate annual donors to Le Moyne College Athletics and determine their interest in expanding their support of the campaign. Through donor cultivation and annual solicitation, identify potential major gift prospects that should be referred to the major gift team. Support campaign stewardship efforts through 1:1 communication, systematic stewardship, and development of events (digital and in person). Collaborating with campaign leadership, fundraising teams, and college administrators to align pipeline efforts with the overall campaign strategy. Setting and meeting fundraising targets for leadership annual giving and pipeline referrals to contribute to the successful completion of the campaign.  QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 1-2 years of fundraising experience Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and team skills  Proven ability to balance complex and often competing priorities  Ability to thrive in an environment with high expectations for results  Proficiency in basic software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)  Experience with CRM systems  Collegiate Athletics experience preferred, but not required COMPENSATION

FT hourly position ($30.00 - $35.00 per hour) plus potential bonus opportunities and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
