Role Objective:

Working alongside the Ticketing Director, the Ticketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the ticketing operations for each tour as well as the selling of tickets, ticketing packages and other revenue driving opportunities. Core responsibilities include proactively identifying opportunities to maximise tour profit through ticket strategy/pricing, daily inventory management, analysing and reporting tour sales and ticket distribution.

Key Responsibilities: 

Alongside the Ticketing Director, lead the coordination and development of strategic and commercial planning associated with ticketing for tour

Focus on maximising revenue generation through inventory management and creative ticketing solutions, within the overall tour plan

Manage the ticketing process from end to end through booking on-sale plans, completing ticket builds, managing on-sale periods, overseeing event day/night and post-event settlement

Observe daily ticket sales and proactively work with Promoters to ensure availability of inventory at all times

Manage, fulfil and report on all ticket inventory – management of sales, availabilities, holds, complimentary tickets, partner tickets, VIPs, house seats, industry tickets, venue holds, on sellers etc.

Assess tour pricing and ticket inventory to identify and coordinate opportunities with an emphasis on efficient ticketing management and generating additional revenue

Assess allocation of inventory to such initiatives as premium pricing, VIP, promotions and/or partner related activity

Work with the P&L team to ensure ticketing builds include accessible seating, platforms, Auslan etc.

Guest lists and management at venues as required, including box office issues, venue/seating inspections, attendance reports, tour management tickets and reports

Work closely with the Product & Experience team on VIP packaging distribution and maximising uplift, travel packages and other ancillary products

Work closely with the Partnerships team on integrating partner pre-sales and providing partner allocated ticketing

Maintain day-to-day external relationships with ticket agents, venues, artist agents, partners etc. influencing commercial outcomes for Live Nation as it relates to ticket allocations

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum 3 years in Ticketing, or relevant live event management experience

Experience with ticketing event builds and working with major ticket agents (e.g.: Ticketmaster, Ticketek or similar)

Proven track record in managing ticketing inventory and experience in the development and implementation of effective ticketing strategies 

Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines

Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Outstanding organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail

Self-starter with a proactive attitude
